Here at Linglestown Lawn and Plow we are primarily a repair shop. We compliment our repair center with the sale of the highest quality equipment that we can stand behind but our main focus is on repair. We look forward to working on your equipment and strive to offer a personalized experience tailored to your specific needs.
We keep parts in stock for most brands and small engines and have quick access to parts for all brands and small engines to get your equipment back to you as quick as possible.
This is a quick run-down of what is included in our standard seasonal service. Call or stop in to see how we can fit your needs.
All other work is done on a time and materials basis.
Plow & Salt Spreader
We service and repair all major current brands of plows and salt spreaders and are billed on a time and materials basis.
Push/walk-behind residential mower
- Visual inspection(check for rusted,damaged,loose parts)
- Run engine and test drive system if applicable
- Change engine oil, air filter, and spark plug
- Remove drive wheels and check gearing
- Check drive belt and transmission for wear
- Check cables for wear and smooth operation
- Sharpen or replace blade as needed
- Scrape and clean all debris under deck
- Check condition of pull starter assembly
- Adjust carburetor and engine RPM's as needed
- Clean unit
Riding tractor
- Visual inspection(check for rusted,damaged,loose parts)
- Run engine and test deck and drive system for proper operation
- Check all belts and and pulleys on drive system and deck
- Check for excessive wear/rust/damage on all moving parts and deck
- Sharpen or replace blades as needed
- Scrape and clean all debris under and above deck
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Level deck at six positions
- Check and adjust carburetor and engine RPM's
- Check health of charging system and battery
- Clean corrosion for battery terminals and replace as needed
- Replace air filter, oil, oil filter, spark plug(s), and fuel filter
- Check transmission fluid if serviceable
- Check and adjust brakes
- Grease all fittings on chassis and deck
- Wash unit
Residential Zero-turn(without serviceable drive system)
- Visual inspection(check for rusted,damaged,loose parts)
- Run engine and test deck and drive system for proper operation
- Check all belts and and pulleys on drive system and deck
- Check for excessive wear/rust/damage on all moving parts and deck
- Sharpen or replace blades as needed
- Scrape and clean all debris under and above deck
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Level deck at six positions
- Check and adjust carburetor and engine RPM's
- Check health of charging system and battery
- Clean corrosion off battery terminals and replace as needed
- Replace air filter, oil, oil filter, spark plug(s), and fuel filter
- Check and adjust brakes
- Grease all fittings on chassis and deck
- Check and adjust tracking for safe operation
- Wash unit
Commerical Zero-turn(with serviceable drive system)
- Visual inspection(check for rusted,damaged,loose parts)
- Run engine and test deck and drive system for proper operation
- Advise on condition of hydraulic system
- Check for needed hydraulic service(extra charge if needed and agreed upon)
- Check all belts and and pulleys on drive system and deck
- Check for excessive wear/rust/damage on all moving parts and deck
- Sharpen or replace blades as needed
- Scrape and clean all debris under and above deck
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Level deck at six positions
- Check and adjust carburetor and engine RPM's
- Check health of charging system and battery
- Clean corrosion off battery terminals and replace as needed

- Wash unit
Single stage snowblower
- Visual inspection(check for rusted,damaged,loose parts)
- Run unit and check for proper operation
- Remove belt plate and check drive pulley, spring, belt, and cables - adjust as needed
- Check scraper bar and and paddles for wear - adjust if possible
- Adjust carburetor and engine RPM's as needed
- Drain fuel and replace with Trufuel
- Grease
- Change spark plug
- Change oil if applicable
- Check pull starter and electrical starter for proper operation
Two/three stage snowblower
- Visual inspection(check for rusted,damaged,loose parts)
- Run unit and check for proper operation
- Remove bottom plate and check gearing, belts, cables, and drive system - adjust as needed
- Grease all gearing and cables
- Check and adjust scraper bar and skid shoes
- Adjust carburetor and engine RPM's as needed
- Drain fuel and replace with Trufuel
- Change spark plug and engine oil
- Check pull starter and electrical starter for proper operation
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Check light bulb if applicable
Handheld equipment
- We only repair/service and do warranty work for Redmax equipment that were sold here
Misc equipment - billed on time and materials
- Pressure washers(just the engine)

- Generators(just the engine)
